Focus Science Communication in a Period of Crisis

Never before as in this crisis of Covid-19 has science been exposed to such a high amount of public interest. We wanted to reflect on past and current challenges of the pandemic for science and science communication. What can we learn from it? How can the lessons we have learned be transferred to other topics, e.g. environment, economy and political crisis? Within this framework, we wanted to explore the topics of «Health Communication», «Credibility of Science and Science Communication» and «Data Literacy». The three topics are independently and at their intersections a rich source of questions and challenges for science communication.
